Alleged baby snatcher, Sameemah Jacobs, will be back in court on Tuesday after making a request for her bail conditions to be amended.

Jacobs is charged with kidnapping and defeating the ends of justice after she allegedly posed as three different women in her plot to abduct a nine-day-old baby.

Police returned the child to its mother after the abduction in Middestad Mall in June this year.

The court will on Tuesday decide whether to grant Jacobs her request for her bail conditions to be amended.

The alleged baby snatcher previously told the court that she had planned to go on a religious excursion in November.

But she abandoned the request last week and brought a new application.

Jacobs wants to be allowed to visit Mitchells Plain to collect her belongings from her previous home.

The court has barred Jacobs from entering Mitchells Plain because the baby she allegedly kidnapped and the boy's mother both live in the area.

The State has indicated it will oppose Jacobs' request.
