Police officers involved in the high-profile arrest of alleged crime boss Katiso "KT" Molefe are expected to testify before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on Monday.
The officers were part of a takedown operation at Molefe’s luxury Sandhurst mansion last December.
Molefe was arrested by members of the Gauteng Counterintelligence Operations Unit and Political Killings Task Team (PKTT) in connection with the murder of Vereeniging engineer Armand Swart.

Swart was, in a case of mistaken identity, shot 23 times outside his company premises in the south of Joburg in April 2024.
In addition to being charged with the 2024 murder of Swart, Molefe is also accused of having a hand in the 2022 murders of music producer Oupa “DJ Sumbody” Sefoka, his two bodyguards, and businessman Hector “DJ Vintos” Buthelezi.
Molefe is currently out on bail.
He and several co-accused face charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
Ballistic reports of the firearms used in the murder of Swart have linked the guns to at least 18 other serious criminal cases.
Detectives from the investigating team in the Swart murder previously testified at the Madlanga Commission about alleged interference from the Hawks and Gauteng traffic police during Molefe's arrest almost a year ago.
