It’s business as usual at the V&A Waterfront after a blaze disrupted operations on Saturday.
This after an exterior air-conditioning duct caught alight at one of the stores in the shopping centre.
The affected areas were evacuated as fire crews were called to the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze.
This is reportedly the second fire at the mall in the past two weeks.
Head of communications for the V&A Waterfront, Donald Kau: "We have contractors working on a new roof section of our mall. A piece of insulation caught fire and was immediately brought under control. In such cases, affected areas are evacuated until clearance is provided by the fire department. Our tenants have resumed trading as their business wasn’t impacted."
