The majority of crimes related to assault, theft, drivingunder the influence, reckless and negligent driving, with 15 EMPD officers awaiting trial for murder.
“No illicit [crimes were] recorded and that is a total of 3,174 people. Two-hundred and seventy-five officers have illicit activity recorded and then 211 is still outstanding - which gives us a total of 3762 at that stage.”
