The South African Musicians' Organisation (SAMRO) has been given until December to respond to frustrated musicians demands.
On Thursday, artists marched to SAMRO's offices in the Johannesburg CBD, in hopes of getting a list of issues addressed.
One of the main issues raised is that the organisation has failed to pay royalties to many, for years.
They claim their monies have been used for alleged fraudulent activities.
A creatives representative body, artists united, said that SAMRO needs to make sure that all they address the issues raised.
"SAMRO has got less than 20 days. On the 4th of December, we're going for the AGM. If they don't respond to our demands, we don't have an option. We're going to take them out on the 4th of December. Simple. But if we work together, we'll be able to find ourselves out and move forward. But if they go the other direction, then we don't have a choice but to take them out. Because you can't have a mother or a father that does not listen to you. They are our parents. They must listen to us and we are not mad."
