Yet another inquiry will kick off on Monday. This time, investigating the fitness to hold office of Gauteng prosecutions boss, Andrew Chauke.
The inquiry will sit for the first time in Pretoria.
Chauke was suspended by President Cyril Ramaphosa in July amid serious allegations against him.
Advocate Chauke has held the post of South Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions since 2011, and since then, he has faced several allegations of quashing prosecutions against the politically connected.

Some of the allegations that will take center stage at the commission of inquiry include the decision to withdraw a murder case against former police Crime Intelligence boss Richard dluli and pursuing racketeering charges against former KZN Hawks head Johan Booysen, allegedly despite a lack of evidence.
This week prosecutions boss, Shamila Batohi, is expected to testify at the inquiry after she recommended Chauke's suspension to Ramaphosa.
Chairing the inquiry will be retired justice Bess Nkabinde, with advocate Elizabeth Baloyi–Mere and attorney Thenjiwe Vilakazi.
