There is good news for the Springbok camp as World Rugby confirmed that Franco Mostert's red card has been rescinded.
This means the number five is free to play in this week’s crucial game against Ireland.
Mostert received the red card for a dangerous tackle on Italy's Paolo Garbisi in the 11th minute of the game last weekend.
The disciplinary committee downgraded the red card to a yellow.

Speaking to Robert Marawa, sports reporter Mike Greenaway says the red card was an overcorrection.
"The referees are now blowing too heavily, and the game of rugby is not as it used to be."
Former Junior Bok Thando Manana added that World Rugby is trying its best, however, they are erring in the use of technology.
Greenaway notes the team will be going into the crucial test against Ireland on a good winning streak as they look to make a point.
South Africa has not won in Dublin since 2012, and the Boks have lost four of their last five games against Ireland.
"This has been the game that the Springboks have been looking forward to the whole year. It is not just another game. The Springboks want to tick this box. This is going to be the strongest possible Springbok team against Ireland," says Greenaway.
