Police make second arrest in murder case of school principal, clerk in Tembisa

Police have made another breakthrough in the double murder of a principal and a clerk in Tembisa, with a second suspect arrested in connection with the crime.
Earlier this week, the principal and an employee at Inxiweni Primary School were shot while preparing for a meeting at around 5pm.
On Thursday, police announced the arrest of a 26-year-old woman, who is believed to have played a role in the murder.
Police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said the latest suspect is a 35-year-old man.
“The 35-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of this morning [Friday] and is expected to appear before Tembisa Magistrates Court on Monday, 24 November 2025, on a charge of murder with two counts. Police investigations are ongoing on this matter.”
