G20 leaders hold bilaterals as summit winds down after early declaration

With the final declaration already secured, government leaders remaining at Nasrec on Day Two of the G20 Summit are holding bilateral meetings on the sidelines of closed-door plenary sessions.
The focus of discussions on Sunday includes Decent Work, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the beneficiation of critical minerals.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is also expected to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi before officially closing the summit later today.
In a strategic move, President Ramaphosa tabled the summit's final declaration for adoption immediately after opening the two-day meeting on Saturday.
With several heads of government having already departed South Africa, the remaining attention turns to a plenary discussion with invited countries and organisations focusing on a fair and just future.
The summit is scheduled to conclude early this afternoon to allow for leaders'travel, according to Government Spokesperson William Baloyi.
"From there on at 1 pm we are expecting President Cyril Ramaphosa as the outgoing chair of G20 will then close so that people will have time to travel" said William Baloyi, Government Spokesperson.
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who will exit the Troika of G20 hosts at the end of this summit, is also expected to address the media before leaving South Africa.
