CASE POSTPONED

The accused brothers Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande appeared in court looking rather calm as they could be seen laughing from time to time.

Advocate Simphiwe Mlotshwa who is now representing the pair has requested the State to provide all documentation regarding the extradition of his clients.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA)'s spokesperson, Natasha Ramkisson Kara explained.

“The two accused made their second appearance in the Durban magistrates court today [Tuesday] following their successful extradition to South Africa two weeks ago. They face several charges including murder, attempted, unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition as well as money laundering related charges.

“The case was postponed 9 January 2026 for the defence to make a formal request to the state regarding certain information.”
