Evidence of pinging, cell phone records and the testimony of an accused-turned-State witness were all used in court on Tuesday to implicate alleged underworld gang boss, Nafiz Modack, in the attempted murder of prominent attorney William Booth.

State prosecutor Greg Wolmarans on Tuesday, showed the court how Booth was pinged by co-accused Zane Killian.
Kilian swore under oath that it was Modack who instructed him to track the whereabouts of Booth.
Wolmarans also used cell phone evidence to show how three of Modack's co-accused, including his bodyguard, Ziyaad Poole, were in constant communication up until the attempt on Booth's life on the ninth of April 2020.
A former accused-turned-State witness also testified, saying he was the driver for the shooting, implicating Poole, Toufeek Brown and Riyaad Gesant, for being involved.
"I'm going to argue that the reason there is this cooperation. This alignment of their behaviour. Is because they have the same boss… You."
Modack is due back in the witness box for his cross-examination, set to continue on Wednesday.
