Police launch manhunt after two men shot dead in Khayelitsha

The Lingelethu Community Policing Forum (CPF) in Khayelitsha has condemned the deadly shooting which happened at a well-known hangout spot on Spine Road.

Two men were shot dead in the early hours of Monday morning, and it’s still unclear why they were attacked.

Police are searching for the hitmen responsible for the attack.

Lingelethu CPF chairperson Lunga Guza is calling on the police to act swiftly and arrest the shooters.

“That's the business area of Khayelitsha, eParkini, and also, it's a place where young people and older people gather to have fun. So, incidences like that will always not sit well with us.”
