The prosecution in the high-profile trial of alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack has argued there's enough evidence to draw inference that Modack plotted the murder of top cop Charl Kinnear.
Modack's three-month long cross-examination continued on Monday as he answered questions related to Kinnear's murder in September 2020.
The incident forms part of the 122 charges Modack faces along with 14 others who are charged for various crimes related to allegedly operating a criminal enterprise.

Evidence presented on Monday shows Zane Kilian sent messages to at least eight numbers saved under variations of Modack’s name while tracking Kinnear.
It's the State's case that Kilian used the saved contacts, along with one unsaved number, to communicate with Modack while they plotted Kinnear's murder.
State prosecutor Greg Wolmarans said Kilian shared information about Kinnear to four of the contacts.
"If I understand Kilian's evidence, he believed with all these names, he believed he was communicating with you."
"He said he wasn't sure who was on the other side, my Lord," Modack responded.
Wolmarans said the State will produce a list of objective facts for the court to infer Modack planned Kinnear's murder.
