If you are looking to squeeze in a little more fun before the schools reopen, Carnival City’s Pocket Park is bringing all the adrenaline and excitement.

The family-friendly amusement park offers a variety of rides for little ones and thrill seekers, such as a Ferris wheel, rollercoasters, and bumper cars.

Manager Johan Pretorius says it has been amazing to see families enjoy the park’s offerings this festive season, and they are already planning an upgrade and expansion to bring the very best to South Africa.

“We are investing a lot in the park, so we are going to review again to look for new opportunities. In the next year or two, there are going to be new rollercoasters and rides.”

Rides run daily until 11 January 2026, opening from 12 pm, weather permitting, and only on weekends and public holidays thereafter.
