Ariana Grande has confirmed she will not be releasing any new music ahead of her upcoming Eternal Sunshine tour, which kicks off later this year.
"Basically, what she said to Variety mag was, nope, definitely not releasing any new music. Nothing is coming before May. She emphasised how busy her schedule has been, including promoting 'Wicked: For Good'. She's preparing for the awards season. She's got other movies that she's going to be working on this year, and she says it's going to be impossible to produce a brand new album in the short time that she's got before her tour.
What she has hinted at, though, is that she might do some music from 'Wicked'. "I quite frankly don't need her to. We want Ariana Grande music," said 947's Zweli Mbhele.
