A joint funeral service was held on Sunday for Thato Moetji, Ofentse Vinger, and Bokamoso Mokhobo, some of the victims of the Vanderbijlpark car crash.
Hundreds of mourners, including the Gauteng government, family and friends, gathered at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Sebokeng to pay their final respects.
Twelve learners died on the spot after their scholar transport driver crashed into a truck on Monday. Two others later succumbed to their injuries in hospital, thus bringing the total fatalities to 14.
The driver, Ayanda Dludla, has since been arrested and charged with multiple counts of culpable homicide.
He is currently facing 14 counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder. Additionally, Dludla has been charged with driving without a valid permit.
