Alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack is due back in the witness box in the Western Cape High Court on Monday after making a brief appearance a week ago.
Modack faces 122 charges and is on trial along with 14 others for various crimes related to allegedly operating a criminal enterprise.
The matter was postponed last Monday due to one of the defence attorneys being ill.
Modack's lawyer, Advocate Bashier Sibda, was due to re-examine Modack last week after the state closed its case against the alleged underworld gang boss in November last year.

However, the matter was yet again delayed after the court heard that defence attorney Advocate Pauline Andrews was ill and being treated in hospital.
Presiding judge Robert Henney postponed proceedings as Andrews' clients, Petrus Visser and Amaal Jantjies, are linked to some of the charges Modack faces.
The legal teams agreed that Andrews needs to be present to defend her clients in case anything incriminating is said during Modack's reexamination.
Henney told the court he will reassess the situation when the matter proceeds on Monday.
