Former Public Enterprises minister Malusi Gigaba will make his return to the Palm Ridge Magistrates court on Friday morning.

Gigaba is alleged to have received kickbacks from locomotive deals within Transnet.

He is charged alongside Brian Molefe, Siyabonga Gama, Anoj Singh and engineer Thamsanqa Jiyane.

Last November Gigaba made a brief appearance in court.

Today he will appear for the disclosure of the docket, the provision of an indictment and a date for the transfer to a high court.

The other executives are facing charges linked to contraventions of the Public Finance Management Act, fraud, corruption and breaches of the Companies Act.

However Gigaba only faces one charge of corruption relating to a period between November 2010 and may 2014.
