Murder-accused Mervyn Bock expected to make bail bid in court

Murder-accused Mervyn Bock is back at the Knysna Magistrates Court on Monday.
 
He is accused of killing his 39-year-old girlfriend, Velia Strydom, and dumping her body near the Red Bridge.
 
Bock is expected make his bid for bail.

The 40-year-old is accused of murdering the mother of four in December.
 
Strydom was last seen alive in early December when CCTV captured Bock allegedly carrying her out of a night club.
 
Bock was caught on camera loading her body into a vehicle two days later and the vehicle registration number was again captured, when he allegedly dumped her body in the bushes near Knysna's iconic Red Bridge.
