Thousands rally worldwide in solidarity with Iranians

Protests continue around the world against the Iranian government.
On Saturday, hundreds of thousands of people gathered to stand in solidarity with the Iranian people.

This follows calls by Iran’s exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, urging world leaders to increase pressure on the government.
Addressing an estimated 250,000 people in Munich, Germany, Pahlavi called for the overthrow of the Iranian government.
International correspondent Adam Gilchrist said that more than 6,000 people were reportedly killed after joining nationwide protests in Iran against the rising cost of living and the government.
“Thousands more deaths are being investigated, and we may never actually come to a conclusion.”
