Mugabe's attempted murder case postponed for bail

The attempted murder case against the son of the late Zimbabwean president, Robert Mugabe, was postponed on Tuesday to next week for a bail application.
Bellarmine Mugabe appeared briefly alongside his co-accused, Thobias Mugabe Montonge, in the Alexandra Magistrates Court.

The pair are facing charges of attempted murder, defeating the ends of justice, and possession of a firearm.
The firearm charge comes despite police not yet having recovered the gun used to shoot an employee at the Mugabes' luxury Hyde Park property last week.
It remained unclear who shot the 23-year-old employee, who is believed to be a security guard.
