For a record-breaking sixth year, Taylor Swift has been named the best-selling artist by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
This is after the great success of her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, and docuseries about her Eras Tour.
The non-profit, which represents the global recording industry, reports that the album, released in October 2025, sold a whopping 6.05 million units across physical, digital, and streaming.
This is the fourth consecutive year and the sixth time that Swift has been given the honour.
IFPI CEO Victoria Oakley described the achievement as "historic".
"The IFPI Global Artist Chart is comprised of remarkable artists across the globe and also represents the teams and long-term commitment behind each release, ensuring fans around the world can connect with music in meaningful ways."
