With the busy Easter weekend fast approaching, motorists are being urged to make sure their vehicles and driving licences are up to date.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation says hundreds of thousands of licences and vehicle discs are set to expire at the end of March.
According to the RTMC, about 700, 000 vehicle licence discs will expire at the end of this month.
In addition, more than 200,000 driving licence cards are also due for renewal.
RTMC spokesperson Simon Zwane encouraged motorists to renew their documents as soon as possible to avoid long queues and possible fines over the Easter period.
"These will need to be renewed if motorists want to avoid inconvenience and embarrassment during the Easter peak travel period."
