The son of the late former Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe, is set to appear in the Alexandra Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning, where he is expected to bring a formal bail application.
The case was postponed twice last week after the Alexandra court precinct was left with no power or a working generator for a week.
Bellarmine Mugabe and Tobias Mugabe Matondze are accused of shooting and injuring an employee in their Hyde Park home in February.
Mugabe and Mugabe Matondze face seven charges, including attempted murder, possession of a firearm and ammunition, defeating the ends of justice, contravening the Immigration Act, theft and pointing a firearm.

It’s not clear yet if police have found the gun used in the alleged shooting.
The State is expected to confirm the pair’s immigration status in South Africa, following a charge of contravening the Immigration Act.
If they are found to be illegal in the country, this could bolster the State's case to oppose bail.
Last week, Mugabe's lawyer, Sinenhlanhla Mnguni, said his side was ready to deal with the bail hearing.
The condition of the employee has been kept under wraps so far.
