Two killed, six wounded in Eldorado Park mass shooting

Two people have been killed and six others wounded in a mass shooting in Eldorado Park.

Police say the incident occurred during a social gathering on Saturday night when approximately eight unknown men entered the yard and randomly opened fire on those at the venue.

Paramedics declared two victims dead at the scene, while six others with gunshot wounds were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The suspects fled the scene on foot following the shooting.

Police Spokesperson Brenda Muridili confirmed that officers have launched an investigation and are actively searching for the gunmen.

"The police are searching for suspects after a shooting in Eldorado Park that left two people dead and six injured on 14 March 2026," said Muridili. "No arrests have been made yet. If anyone has information, they can contact the SAPS."
