Kfm 94.5's annual music festival Galaxy KDay will light up Sandringham Farm on the 28th March 2026. Proudly sponsored by Samsung Galaxy, the event looks to deliver a day of family fun and entertainment featuring music acts such as YoungstaCPT, DJ Kent, Liquideep and many more. Of course, the Kfm 94.5 presenters will be joining the party too.
Whether you're going to dance along to your favorite local artists performing live, or simply enjoying a picnic day with family and friends, here are some important things you should know ahead of Galaxy KDay 2026.
How To Get There
From Stellenbosch & Somerset West
Travel west on the R44 (Strand Road) toward Klapmuts.
Turn left onto Muldervlei Rd
Turn right onto Old Paarl Rd
Look for event signage and traffic officials directing you into Sandringham Farm. Follow the designated event parking routes once you arrive in the area.
From Paarl/Worcester
Take N1 towards City of Cape Town
Take the Klapmuts offramp onto the R44 (Do not take the R304 as this might be congested)
Turn right onto R101, Old Paarl road
Look for event signage and traffic officials directing you into Sandringham Farm. Follow the designated event parking routes once you arrive in the area.
From Franschhoek
Take R45 towards Simondium
Take left onto R101 Old Paarl rd
Look for event signage and traffic officials directing you into Sandringham Farm. Follow the designated event parking routes once you arrive in the area.
From Phillipi / Delft / Kuils River / Brackenfell
Take the R300 and take the M23
M23 will be a good option from the R300, travel along Bottelary Road / R304 Stellenbosch off-ramp and turn right toward Stellenbosch.
Continue on the R304 for about 6 kilometres until you reach Sandringham Farm, where traffic officials will guide you into event parking.
From Cape Town City Bowl
Take the N1 highway toward Paarl.
Continue for approximately 30 kilometres and take the R304 Stellenbosch / Klipheuwel Road off-ramp.
Turn right toward Stellenbosch and turn right at the R101 Old Paarl Road
Follow event signage and parking instructions on arrival.
If the offramp onto the R304 is congested, take a left turn alternative route, as you turn left onto R304, in 50metres turn right onto the newly tarred Hoopenberg road and loop round (this route is a slight deviation but will skip potential congestion)
At the T-Junction on Hoopenberg, take a right onto Hercules Pilaar Rd, cross the N1 highway
Turn right onto the R101 Old Paarl Rd and travel towards Sandringham Farm
From Durbanville
Take the R302 out of Durbanville towards Fisantekraal
Take a right onto the R312 at Fisantekraal allowing you to loop in from the north passing the Cape Winelands Airport
Off the R312, take a right onto the R304 travelling towards the N1
Pass over the N1 and off ramp and take a right onto the R101 Old Paarl Rd
From Goodwood / Parow / Bellville
Take the R102 Voortrekker Rd out of Bellville
Turn left onto M30 Bill Bezuidenhout Ave
Turn right onto the R101 Old Paarl rd towards Kraaifontein through Brackenfell .
Keep travelling on the R101 until you reach Sandringham Farm on your left, where event traffic officials will direct vehicles into parking areas.
From Southern Suburbs / Bloubergstrand / Century City / PlatteKloof
Take the M5 or M3 northbound to connect with the N1 highway toward Paarl.
Continue on the N1 and take the R304 Stellenbosch / Klipheuwel Road off-ramp.
Turn right toward Stellenbosch and turn right onto the R101 Old Paarl Rd
Please follow event traffic signage and marshal directions.
What to Bring
- A picnic basket with food (wooden or plastic forks and knives). There will also be food on sale.
- Umbrellas, camp chairs and picnic blankets are allowed, but will only be allowed in designated areas, not in front of the stage.
- Soft cooler bags will be allowed into the venue. Maximum of 26 litre allowed.
- Water is allowed, in plastic bottles. No cans, no glass.
- Hats and sunscreen!
- ID’s will be requested at security discretion – to ensure no underage access to bars. Strictly no u18s at Bars.
What's Not Allowed
- No Glass, tins, cans.
- No metal cutlery.
- No braais or gas braais.
- No pets.
- No Fire arms or any weapons.
- No Hookah pipes, hubbly bubbly (any type).
- No Alcohol.
- No Drugs.
- No Hard cooler boxes.
- No Speakers.
- No Gazebo’s or tents.
- No Trestle tables.
- No Blow-up pools.
- No Frisbees.
- No Pass-outs: once you leave the venue, re-entry will not be permitted.
- No drones.
