CAPE TOWN - Four people were killed and three others wounded in a mass shooting at the Mfuleni taxi rank on Friday morning.
It's understood that gunmen entered the taxi rank office and opened fire on the people inside.
Crime scene investigators have arrived on the scene.
The taxi rank has been cordoned off and the area is crawling with law enforcers and medical personnel.
Much of the authorities' focus right now is on a small office in the taxi yard.
At least three people were wheeled out on a stretcher and rushed towards ambulances parked near the taxi rank.
It's understood that armed men entered the taxi rank office, targeting the taxi owners sitting inside.
At least one taxi commuter was wounded in the shootout.
