The queen of South African gospel music will be awarded for her contribution at the Basadi In Music Awards at the Joburg Theatre on 1 and 2 August.

Malope has dominated the industry for four decades, inspiring millions.

She has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, making her one of the best-selling gospel artists of all time.
