Johannesburg commuters have only a few days left to share their thoughts on the city's Rea Vaya Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system.
The survey will close on 30 July 2025.
The City of Johannesburg, through the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA), is reviewing the operation of the Phase 1A and 1B routes.
According to the City, this review aims to improve service quality, reliability, and financial sustainability for the many people who rely on Rea Vaya every day.
As the network expands, the City wants to ensure that these initial routes meet the changing needs of commuters.
The survey encourages residents and users to point out challenges and suggest improvements.
Themba Mathibe, CEO of the JDA, highlighted that public input is vital, stating that it will help create a faster, safer, and more accessible system.
