JOHANNBESBURG - Angry protesters in Johannesburg CBD who joined the nationwide shutdown waited to hand over their memorandum of demands on Tuesday afternoon.
Supporters gathered outside the Gauteng Education Department office, saying they were standing in solidarity with a seven-year-old girl who was raped at an Eastern Cape school in 2024.
The news has sent shockwaves countrywide, with citizens baying for the blood of the perpetrator.
