CAPE TOWN - Police in Lingelethu West have opened an inquest docket after the body of a baby was found inside a bin in Ilitha Park.
Officers responded to a call from a resident who reported the discovery earlier on Thursday.
Police spokesperson Anelisiwe Manyana has urged anyone with information to call CrimeStop on 08600 10 111.
“According to reports, police members attended to a complaint and upon arrival at the crime scene, they found the body of a baby inside a bin. A postmortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.”
