South African footballer Shandre Campbell (19) on winning first European trophy: ‘It's a dream come true!’

Club Brugge won the Belgian Cup title over the weekend.

Campbell’s team won their 12th Belgian Cup title over the weekend after defeating fierce rivals Anderlecht 2-1.

It was a proud moment for the 19-year-old as he was only recently promoted to the first team.

The former SuperSport United player has always dreamt of playing in Europe.

“It was an unreal moment. I’ve always dreamt about playing in Europe and finally getting the opportunity. In my first debut season, winning a cup already, it’s a dream come true.”
