A postman in Queensland, Australia has won hearts online for a simple yet incredibly kind gesture on a rainy day. While delivering a package, he noticed the homeowner's bedsheets hanging on the clothesline just as the skies opened up, and instead of walking away, he took a moment to bring them in out of the rain.

The moment was captured on CCTV and later shared online by the homeowner. What touched people most wasn’t the delivery itself, but the thoughtfulness that followed. The footage quickly went viral, racking up millions of views and even earning a like from actress Priyanka Chopra.

In her caption, the woman wrote: "This is 1 in a million. I was on my way home and the heavens opened. I thought, ‘There go the sheets.’ When I got home the line was empty. I had to watch the cameras to see what happened. The postie brought my wash in out of the rain..."

The woman later tracked down the kindhearted postman and identified him as Gurpreet Singh. Since then, people have been singing his praises, applauding this thoughtful gesture.
