DURBAN - The KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) government has commended police for breakthrough arrests in the murder case of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and celebrity chef Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.

The provincial community safety department highlighted that this is just one of many successes made recently, in high profile cases.
KZN Community Safety MEC Sipho Hlomuka said, "We must appreciate the good work that is done by the South African police and other stakeholders because police alone were not going to arrest these people.”
Hlomuka said the department would leave no stone unturned in the interest of justice.
“They must be rest assured that we are still going to arrest those who are still running away, because you can’t run away from the police.”
Five of the seven suspects are set to make their first appearance in court on Thursday, while the state works on extraditing two others from Eswatini.
