In the realm of canine law enforcement, one might not envision a diminutive, cuddly Corgi as the epitome of police prowess.
However, defying stereotypes with each paw step is six-month-old Fuzai, proudly claiming the title of China's inaugural Corgi police dog.
Embarking on his training journey at a mere two months old, Fuzai has since emerged as a top performer among his canine colleagues, as attested by state media.
From deftly locating firecrackers tucked beneath vehicles to enduring a deluge of public affection during his strolls, Fuzai proves that size is no bar to achievement.
“His strong environmental adaptability, insensitivity, his desire to possess items and his fondness for food are particularly conducive to our training,” remarked Wang Yanan, the esteemed leader of the Weifang police dog base.
Moreover, Fuzai's petite stature confers a strategic edge, particularly in navigating cramped quarters during search operations.
Truly, this Corgi dynamo exemplifies the saying that big things come in small packages.
"They are the cutest, funniest, little spicy dogs."
