After a four-year hiatus, South Africa is making a comeback to the Chelsea Flower Show in London.

Since their debut in 1976, South Africa has secured an impressive 37 gold medals over the past 43 years of participation and this year will be no different.

The show, taking place from the 21st to the 25th of May at the Royal Hospital Chelsea grounds, has been a fixture in Chelsea since 1912 and is graced by members of the British royal family.

As day three of construction unfolds, Kluge describes the atmosphere as "hectic," yet their display has already bloomed into a showstopper, captivating passersby with its beauty.

With enthusiasm, his eight-person team showcases an array of Proudly South African flowers, including captivating proteas never before seen, amid the 300 boxes of blossoms received.

Watch their breathtakingly beautiful progress below:

Kluge expresses their aim to complete the display by Friday night, in preparation for pre-judging on Friday.

This involves undercover judges conducting rounds and inspectors meticulously inspecting the flowers.

Following this, the final decision will be made on Sunday, when the winner will be announced.
