North West by-election: ANC dominates (70%). MK sees 'dismal debut' (1%)

Just two weeks before the country is set to cast their votes in the national elections, the ruling party has made a big statement in the final by-election, securing more than 70% of the vote in a rural ward in the Bojanala Platinum District of North West.
The results are as follows:
- ANC: 70%
- EFF: 29%
- MK: 1%
About 46% of the North West voters' roll resides in the Bojanala district.
Since 2021, there have been seven by-elections in this area, with the ANC emerging victorious in all but one.
ANC support in the district is steadfast and unwavering, says Sussman.
