ULUNDI - Just under 1,000 people have cast their vote at the Inqolobane voting station in Ulundi, northern KwaZulu-Natal.
And while this sounds like a small number, there seems to be no slowing down as there remains just under two hours for voters to mark their X.
Nine hundred and three people have so far cast their vote at the Inqolobane Computer Science voting station in Ulundi but more and more cars continue to pack into the small field adjacent to this voting station.
This area is an IFP stronghold and this is evident from the sheer number of IFP supporters at the venue this evening.
The small voting station is packed to the brim with people who continue to flock to the hall to cast their vote.
This will be the first election without former IFP president and stalwart, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, at the helm of the party.
But that isn't slowing down supporters of Inkatha in this part of the province.
