DURBAN - Various organisations have banded together to provide relief to families affected by a recent tornado in oThongathi, north of Durban.
Since disaster struck last week, political organisations, NPOs and NGOs have visited the area to assist where help is needed.
However, some victims of the natural disaster have complained that there was not enough to cover everyone.
"Even those who have already received are here, so if you give out blankets you'd be giving people who have already received."
A community member echoed the distress.
"It is better that you go house to house instead so that you don’t repeatedly give items to the same people.”
On Wednesday, Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) Minister Thembi Nkadimeng is set to visit the area.
