COSATU hoping SA govt won’t neglect fight for Palestinian people’s rights

JOHANNESBURG - The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) said it's hoping the South African government won't neglect its fight for the rights of Palestinian people.
There have been fears that the newly formed Government of National Unity (GNU) may affect the country's position on foreign affairs.
COSATU's general secretary Solly Phetoe said: "It is imperative the GNU’s policy mandate be anchored on the ANC’s [African National Congress] manifesto and guided by the Constitution and rule of law."
