Gauteng police officer Sergeant Fannie Nkosi has denied paying an SABC journalist in exchange for information on controversial entertainment blogger Musa Khawula.
Evidence before the Madlanga Commission shows Nkosi paid a phone contact saved as 'Natasha SABC presenter' R500 a few moments after they sent him Khawula's contact details.

The commission has previously heard that Nkosi was facing pressure from controversial businessmen, Ze Nxumalo and Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala, to arrest Khawula after he posted details of their personal lives on social media.
Last week, he denied paying the 'Natasha from the SABC' money in exchange for Khawula’s number.
Evidence leader, Matthew Chaskalson [MC]: "Did you pay her for this information?"
Nkosi [FN]: "No."
MC: "Are you sure about that answer?"
FN: "I’m sure about that answer."
However, WhatsApp chats before the commission showed Nkosi sent R500 as a“token of appreciation.”
But Nkosi said the money was not for Khawula's number.
“I did not pay Natasha for information. I just gave her money because I know her."
Nkosi returns to the witness stand on Tuesday.
