JOHANNESBURG - The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party says the withdrawal of its election results challenge is just a temporary move while it gathers more evidence of vote rigging.
On Wednesday, the party withdrew its challenge with the Electoral Court after alleging irregularities.

Throughout the election season, the MK Party claimed the elections were rigged and that they are, in fact, the outright poll winners.
But those allegations have been made without any evidence, and the party had promised to prove them before the courts.
However, now the MK Party has withdrawn this bid, saying it has been advised that there are procedural and technical issues to be considered before the matter is brought before the courts.
It claims to have received more evidence of vote rigging and will be filing new papers soon.
