Yet another fuel price cut expected in October

A fifth consecutive fuel price cut is on the cards for next month.
Petrol prices are showing an over-recovery of between R1.31 and R1.39 per litre.

If current conditions continue, we could see the lowest petrol prices since January 2022.
Predictions are that 95 unleaded will retail at R20.06 at the coast and R20.85 in Gauteng, and 93 should cost around R20.54.
In September, fuel prices dropped by 92 cents per litre, which followed a 15-cent decrease in August, a R1.05 drop in July and a R1.24 decrease in June.
