Home Affairs extends operating hours to Saturday for a limited period

The department said this extension was in line with the National Student Funding Aid Scheme's applications for the 2025 academic year opening on 20 September.

JOHANNESBURG - The Home Affairs Department has extended its operating hours to Saturdays from 21 September to 12 October.
 
The department said this extension was in line with the National Student Funding Aid Scheme's applications for the 2025 academic year opening on 20 September.
 
Matriculants and learners will be able to collect their temporary IDs as well as their IDs.

The department said that its offices would open from 8am until 1pm every Saturday until the 12th of October.
