CAPE TOWN - Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a five-year-old boy in Manenberg.
 
The little boy is in hospital after being shot in the head, in an apparent gang-related shooting on Monday.
 
Police said the boy was walking with his father when a stray bullet hit him.

Two women, aged 31 and 54, were also injured in the crossfire.
 
"Three suspects aged 24, 26 and 31 were arrested yesterday by Anti-Gang Unit detectives. They are due to appear in court once charged," explained South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson FC van Wyk.
