JOHANNESBURG - Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi and her deputy Andries Nel are at the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on Thursday morning, to probe allegations of corruption at the facility.
The department received complaints about operations at the court.
She met with court leadership who took her on a walkabout. She also talked to staff and the public.

In December, matters could not proceed when power was cut at the court due to the non-payment.
But it’s the allegations of corruption that have drawn Kubayi’s attention.
Kubayi said at the end of the visit, there would be an intervention.
