Five people were killed, with seven remaining in hospital.
On Tuesday, the Minister of Police, Senzo Mchunu, is visiting the area to get an update on the investigation of the crime.
The community member said he is worried about the state of the crime in the area.
“The crime in this area is very high. They steal all kinds of things. The other time they stole shacks of people and their clothes, and the community formed a patrolling group to try and put an end to this.”
