Police rescue teams recover VW Polo bumpers suspected to be car Free State cops drove
The three officers’ bodies were recovered in the Hennops River in Centurion this week after an extensive search for the trio who went missing from Friday.

JOHANNESBURG - Police search-and-rescue teams based in Centurion have on Wednesday afternoon recovered the front and back bumpers of a VW Polo suspected to be the vehicle that three Free State cops, who have died, were travelling in.
The three officers’ bodies were recovered in the Hennops River in Centurion this week after an extensive search for the trio who went missing from last Friday.

On Thursday last week, Constables Cebekhulu Linda, Keamogetswe Buys and Boipelo Senoge travelled from Bloemfontein to their area of deployment in Limpopo. They were last seen on CCTV footage on Friday.
Search-and-rescue members have also discovered a police reflective vest this afternoon, believed to belong to one of the cops.
Police say the vehicle parts have been sent for verification, and all operations have been called off for the evening to resume on Thursday morning.
