Have aspirations for tertiary education?
Save the date for Saturday, 10 May! UWC's Bellville Campus on Robert Sobukwe Road is hosting an Open Day from 9am to 3pm.
The event is open to all prospective students, parents and guardians to explore the campus and see which of the seven faculties' undergraduate or postgraduate courses might be a fit for you.
The university also offers a community-engaged curriculum within the areas around the university such as Bellville, Belhar, Khayelitsha and Mitchells Plain which involves students giving back to communities.
For example, if you're studying dentistry, you're able to give back with the skills learnt while studying.
At the Open Day, prospective students can:
- Get a chance to interact with staff from the various faculties
- Interact with current students
- Find out more about admission requirements
- Receive guidance on applications or apply at the Open Day
- Explore funding opportunities
- Have the opportunity to tour UWC's facilities
- Have burning questions about studying at UWC answered.
All seven faculties will have live presentations, informative exhibitions, and one-on-ones.
