They’re all set to appear before the KwaMhlanga Magistrates Court on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, Samuel Mogongwe, a suspect who made his first court appearance on Tuesday, is believed to be the mastermind behind the disappearance of Ndlovu and his partner, Zodwa Mdhluli.

National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola said Mogongwe was initially considered a witness, however, further investigations uncovered his alleged involvement in the matter.

"Only recently in the past week, that's when they got feedback on some of the clues. Based on that, when they did their further investigations, that's when they came to realise that some of the things are amiss."

It's further alleged that after kidnapping the couple, the suspects went to rob their home.

"Some appliances that have been stolen from the home of the couple have already been recovered and this includes a fridge, a stove, microwave blankets, and other items."
